A DESIGNER from Garryowen and his team are the masterminds behind an array of eye-catching, sparkly outfits for Girls Aloud who are back together and on tour.

Derek Purcell, the creative director of Bang London, has previously worked on costumes for Beyonce and Kylie Minogue.

On the Bang London Instagram page, they said it was “an amazing couple of months working with these icons”.

Girls Aloud came to Dublin's 3Arena on May 17 for two nights, before going onto Belfast and then onto the UK leg of the tour.

The band is made up of Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh and this tour has a total of 30 dates.

This is their first tour since 2013 and their first since being a group of four members.

The reunion tour paid tribute to former band member Sarah Harding, who died from cancer in September 2021, at the age of 39.

There were nods to Sarah through her voice on backing vocals, as well as some images projected on screen at the shows.

Girls Aloud will play the final show of the tour on June 30 in Liverpool.
