THE ANNUAL mayor's charity ball took place during Riverfest at The Strand Hotel.
It was hosted by Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Gerald Mitchell who will shortly hand over the chains to Limerick's first democratically elected mayor.
Funds raised on the night will go to the CARI Foundation, Limerick Civic Trust and Down Syndrome Ireland.
