ONE LIMERICK shop can call itself the luckiest in the county as it has been confirmed to have sold not one, but two million winning Lotto tickets.

The National Lottery have revealed that G O Stores in Garryowen sold Saturday’s jackpot winning ticket worth €8,970,934.

It is the same store that sold Dolores McNamara's winning EuroMillions ticket worth €115 million in 2005.

Ms McNamara famously became the first EuroMillions jackpot winner in Ireland after purchasing her winning €115 million ticket in July 2005 which marked the biggest lottery win in Europe at the time. 

Officials from the National Lottery will be at the Limerick store on Tuesday to officially announce the winning location.
