PICTURES: Limerick students strut their stuff on the runway

A POPULAR annual fashion show returned last week, with the proceeds set to benefit present and future generations of students.   

The Laurel Hill Schools Parents Advisory Council held the Laurel Hill Schools Annual Spring/Summer Fashion Show at The Strand Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick

The joint event was run by the Parents Council of Laurel Hill Secondary School and Laurel Hill Coláiste.

This year saw 38 students from fifth year join the models from the Holman Lee Agency on the runway.

The students modelled evening wear from Be Fabulous, Dani’s Closet & Glowing Girlies. Students also modelled sportswear from So Hockey.

Models from the Holman Lee Agency modelled fashion from Ber McNamara, Brown Thomas, Earls & Pearls, and more,

Some of the teachers modelled fashions from Sexton’s menswear. Hair and make-up was by Catherine Hickey and Curlz Hair Salon.

The Annual Laurel Hill Schools Fashion Show has been running for over 40 years and is one of the largest fashion shows in Munster, attracting more than 500 people to the event.

The show is generously supported by local businesses and fashion houses.

The funds raised are used for the benefit of present and future generations of Laurel Hill Secondary School and Laurel Hill Coláiste students,” the spokesperson added.
