Man assaulted with metal bar in Limerick

A MAN has been left with serious injuries after being assaulted with a metal bar in Limerick city.

A man in his 30s was assaulted at Arthurs Quay on Wednesday, March 27 at 1pm. 

He was approached by two males and struck on the head with a metal bar. His injuries are serious but not life threatening.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses or anyone who came to the man's aid to contact them at Henry Street garda station.
