PICTURES: Limerick crowds enjoy launch of new Good Friday Agreement book

ON Thursday, February 29 at the Honey Fitz, Lough Gur Historical Society presented: The Good Friday Agreement Negotiations - A personal reflection by Tim O'Connor, member of the Irish Government negotiating team.

Tim O'Connor is a retired senior diplomat of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and a former secretary general to the President of Ireland.

He was a member of the Irish Government negotiating team for the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.

From Killeedy in west Limerick and now living in Dublin, he continues to be involved in Northern Ireland work and is an honorary professor of practice at Queen's University Belfast.
