Adare Manor
TWO HOTELS in Limerick have been awarded for their high-standard hospitality, as the winners nationwide have been announced.
Adare Manor was crowned gold and came out on top in Munster, while No 1 Pery Square Townhouse & Spa was awarded a bronze in the Ireland’s Guest Experience category.
Now in their 34th year, the Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry.
Judged by industry experts, the awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations the country. The winners were announced on Tuesday, January 30.
In addition to Adare Manor and No 1 Pery Square being crowned Limerick winners, chef Mike Tweedie of Adare Manor was crowned Ireland's Chef of the Year Five Star, making the five-star golf hotel and resort a two-time winner.
