VOLUNTEERS at a charity shop in the city centre have been honoured for the efforts they go to to keep it looking clean and attractive.

Limerick City Tidy Towns has presented its first bi-monthly award for 2024 to the Adapt charity shop in Parnell Street.

Maura O’Neill, Limerick City Tidy Towns said: “The shop was suggested to us by one of our regular volunteers who is impressed at the effort the staff put into keeping their signage and shop front clean and fresh and by the fact that they also endeavour to keep the nearby laneway clean which is greatly appreciated by us,”
