LEGENDARY cyclist Sean Kelly has raised a massive amount of money for Down Syndrome Limerick through a major fundraiser.

Last September, the Sean Kelly Three Counties Cycle completed its third edition.

Sean Kelly, who is ranked Number 2 cyclist in the world, not only lends his name to the event but also turns up each year to cycle with the participants.

Over 500 cyclists joined Kelly on the roads around Limerick, Clare and Tipperary for this event in 2023.

The cycle raised over €110,000 for local Limerick charity, Down Syndrome Limerick, which is the biggest fundraiser they have ever been involved with in the history of the charity.
