In Pictures: Limerick crowds celebrate Burns Night

A night of “feast and revelry” and “tipsy dance and jollity” was had as Robert Burns night was celebrated in Dolan’s.

On Thursday, January 25, the Dock Road pub put on a typical Scottish meal to mark the night celebrating Scotland’s national poet.

Mungret man Michael Potter once again compered the event he organises, while people were invited to recite a few of Robbie Burns’s classic poems, including his famous Tam O’Shanter!
