Customer care firm reveals plans to recruit over 100 staff in Limerick

Everise offices in Limerick city

LIMERICK has received its first jobs boost of 2024, with a customer care firm unveiling plans to create over 100 positions in the city centre.

Everise has announced the new roles which will be located at its offices in Catherine Street.

A number of positions are available including for customer service representatives, IT support specialists and other support staff.

Bosses at Everise have already recruited for some of these jobs and it’s anticipated it will reach its target staff numbers by this year.

Located in Limerick since it was established in 2016, Everise operates from a 5,800 square foot office, where 130 presently are employed here.

Sudhir Agarwal, the founder and chief executive of the company said: “Everise looks forward to accelerating our growth trajectory globally and this hiring reflects our continued commitment to the Limerick community.

“We are excited to welcome new talent into the Everise family as we continue to provide a world-class healthcare services experience to our clients.”

In a statement, the company added its move to expand its headcount in Limerick is a decision which “reflects confidence in the local talent pool and the supportive business environment in Ireland.”

Jobs in Limerick will involve providing support to healthcare customers with insurance plans based in USA.

Everise provides back-office support to a huge number of blue-chip firms from across the world.

Headquartered in Florida, USA, Everise teams up with third party organisations to provide the customer support.

It has offices in six countries across three continents. Globally, the firm employs 19,000 people.

Everise’s investment represents the second month on the bounce that Limerick has enjoyed good news on the jobs front.

Last month, communications firm Verizon unveiled plans to create at least 400 new jobs in the heart of the city, while Green Rebel and WP Engine also announced expansions.
