A BENCH warrant was issued at Newcastle West Court for the arrest of a woman living in a mobile home without permission.

Mary Flynn, of The Square, Rathkeale is being prosecuted for failing to comply with the terms of an enforcement notice.

Will Leahy, solicitor for Limerick City and County Council, said a mobile home has been situated at the back of a premises in Rathkeale while a “property was being done-up”.

“A second mobile home has now appeared,” said Mr Leahy.

“It was still there this morning,” he added.

Judge Carol Anne Coolican issued a bench warrant for Mary Flynn. A bench warrant was not issued for a co-accused Dan Flynn, of the same address, on medical grounds. That matter was adjourned.

The case against a third party - Nora Flynn, of The Square, Rathkeale - was adjourned as it was the first day in Newcastle West Court.

The court heard the parties are related.
