Gardai attend three separate collisions on busy Limerick road

A total of nine vehicles were involved in the collisions

GARDAI attended three separate collisions on a busy Limerick road in one day, it has been confirmed.

All three collisions occurred on the N21 in the Adare and Rathkeale areas on Sunday evening.

Gardai attended the first of these collisions at approximately 5.05pm.

The collision occurred at Blackabbey, Adare and involved four vehicles.

A man (50s) and two women (30s and 50s) were taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Investigations are ongoing.

A second collision involving three vehicles occurred on the N21 in Rathkeale.

The incident occurred at approximately 5.30pm. There were no reports of injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.

The final collision involved two vehicles and occurred at approximately 6.30pm at Coolanoran, Rathkeale.

There were no reports of injuries.
