Guinness Live and Rising event brings festive feast to Limerick venue

GUINNESS Live & Rising will return to Limerick for an immersive experience - and a limited amount of tickets are up for grabs.
To celebrate an incredible year for Irish talent, rising star Jazzy will perform in Dolan's alongside special guests.
The event will take place on December 5 and is set to shine a light on some of the incredible Irish talent that has surged in the world of music and food throughout 2023.
Hosted by Jazzy, who will play a DJ set on the night, Guinness is inviting people to come together for a Christmas feast and to cheer to an incredible year, in a pub that has always championed new talent and who recently won Best Music Pub in the Irish Pub Awards 2023.
The night will also spotlight the incredible food that can be found in pubs across the country. Dolan's is set to create the ultimate festive feast for one night only, showcasing why Irish pubs are known for serving, not just the best pints in the world, but also the best food.
Food and travel presenter, Cassie Stokes, will be on hand to co-host the evening and guide us through the Christmas menu, which will be inspired by some of Jazzy’s favourite festive dishes.
Throughout the night, there will also be vibrant music performances from up-and-coming Limerick musical talent God Knows and MuRli who have been selected by Jazzy, as well as an exciting set from Jazzy’s previous bandmates, Ciaran and Ricks Reddington of Powerful Creative Minds. Guests can also expect some magical festive surprises along the way.
Guinness Live & Rising is an initiative celebrating Irish pubs across the country, showcasing the role they play as homes and hosts of incredible experiences in music, food and sport.
Jazzy said: “It’s been such an amazing year, especially for Irish talent around the country. So, I’m delighted to close out 2023 with a special Guinness Live & Rising event, to celebrate pubs that always provide a stage to our emerging talent. There’s always a special vibe in and around the pubs this time of year and I think we all love a sing-song over a pint with our friends and family. I can’t wait to see what all our amazing upcoming artists will bring for us in 2024!”
Mick Dolan also commented: “We can’t wait to welcome Guinness Live & Rising to Dolan’s and be part of such an exciting initiative, that not only supports pubs around the county but also emerging talent. Dolan’s has always championed new musicians, and some of Ireland’s most successful artists have performed here throughout the years. Pubs across the country, including Dolan’s, are not only a place for people to come together for a pint and some music, but somewhere to enjoy world-class food. So, we are also looking forward to creating a festive feast for guests on the night, served up by the talented chefs here at Dolan’s”
