IF SUCCESS follows hard work and innovation then Limerick's Samco in Adare is a 'Case' in point.
Samco was born in Adare before going global with their 3-in-1 film laying machine.
The Shine family held an open day at their multi-million euro facility in Tuogh on Tuesday, November 21.
The company was founded in 1997 by Samuel J Shine.
Twenty-six years later, Samco employs over 50 staff with an annual turnover of €12m and exports to 25 countries.
Samco Agri Sales had a constant flow of old and new customers passing through on the open day.
There were representatives from their range of suppliers who were delighted to discuss product ranges.
Being showcased were the latest models from Case IH including the New Vestrum range and the New Puma 260 CVX along with Kverneland’s comprehensive range of grass equipment, tillage equipment, Siloking feeding equipment and McConnel hedge cutting equipment and, of course, the renowned Redrock range of slurry, feeding, and agri and plant equipment
CNH Industrial gave demonstrations on precision farming equipment and guided farmers on how to economise and curtail their costs on seeds, fertilisers, as well as sprays.
Samco Agri Sales also displayed their own brand which includes the award-winning 3 in 1 Samco Machine as well as the Samco Field Lift (sub soiler), Samco Soilmaster (land leveller), Samco Disc Harrow 3m and 4.2m and the Samco Folding Fork (10ft to 16ft).
