LIMERICK city was a sea of green and red this Wednesday as students enjoyed their annual Christmas Day out.
Third level students started the tradition a number of years ago of dressing up in their finest festive outfits and hitting the town.
They started the fun early with groups of university students in Christmas jumpers seen as early as 8am queueing for Limerick hostelries.
