Man arrested for number of burglaries in Limerick

Man in his 30's arrested and charged in Limerick city

A MAN has been arrested and charged as part of an investigation into a number of burglaries in Limerick. 

The burglaries happened at a number of residences in the Westbury area of Limerick city early this Tuesday morning, November 7. 

A garda investigation was launched after the alarm was raised and a suspect was subsequently arrested.

The man, whose aged in his 30s, was detained at a garda station in county Limerick under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He has since been charged and will appear before Limerick District Court at 10:30am on Wednesday.
