The late and much-loved Darren Ryan, of Meelick
A YOUNG man who died in a road traffic collision on the outskirts of the city in the early hours of Sunday morning will be laid to rest this Thursday.
Darren Ryan, aged 30, of Meelick, was fatally injured when the minibus he was driving struck Athlunkard bridge in Corbally.
The son of Trish and Ray Ryan, of Ray Ryan Coach Hire, was one of triplets along with brothers Evan and Gavin, and also had a sister, Dawn. Mr Ryan was the father of a young son, Raymie.
Tributes have flowed in for the popular and talented sportsman.
Reposing in McMahon's Funeral Home, Blackwater, this Wednesday, November 8 from 5pm to 8pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in John the Baptist Church, Meelick, on Thursday, November 9 at noon followed by burial afterwards in Ballycannon Cemetery.
The death notice said Mr Ryan died following a tragic accident
His untimely passing is mourned by beloved parents Ray and Trish, sister Dawn, triplet brothers Evan and Gavin, partner Millena and adoring son Raymie, grandfather Joe, extended family and a large circle of friends.
