ONE OF Limerick's oldest schools have been holding a number of events to celebrate their bicentennial.
Ahane NS hosted a community night that saw over 150 people with links to the school enjoying an evening in the hall with many stories shared over a cuppa.
At the centre of everything were the pupils who had a “decades day”. Every boy and girl was given a different decade to learn about in the last 200 years and dress up in the fashion of that time.
