In Pictures: Famous faces attend new festival at Limerick racecourse

LIMERICK hurling manager John Kiely and snooker legend Ken Doherty were some of the names who turned out for day two of the King John’s Castle Racing Festival.

The festival took place at Limerick Racecourse on October 21 and 22.

Sunday featured the €100,000 Grade 3 JT McNamara Ladbrokes Munster National Handicap Steeplechase, the pinnacle race of the King John’s Castle Festival.

The iconic Limerick visitor attraction partnered up with Limerick Racecourse, lending its name to the new two-day National Hunt Festival, one that is synonymous with the McNamara name.
