Limerick woman has purse stolen while waiting in restaurant

A WOMAN in her 30s had her purse stolen from her as she waited for food in a restaurant. 

On Friday, October 6 the woman in her early 30s ordered a takeaway from the establishment in Castletroy.

She sat down for 15 minutes and waited for it. She placed her purse on the seat alongside her. When her order was ready, she reached for her purse but it was gone.

It is possible that the thief saw that she was distracted by her phone and took their chance to lift her purse that contained her bankcards.
