LIMERICK Greyhound Stadium was the venue for a special fundraiser on Saturday night.
The event was held to raise money for Milford Hospice and featured racing, live music and a special appearance from some Limerick hurlers and the Liam MacCarthy cup.
Tom Nash, a welfare officer with Greyhound Racing Ireland, wanted to honour the memory of his mother and thank the hospice for their kindness and care towards her earlier this year.
Tom and his family decided that a fundraising event would be a great opportunity to raise money for the hospice.
Limerick hurlers Barry Nash and Kyle Hayes were on hand on the night to take photos with fans at the event.
