A significant amount of cannabis was seized
INVESTIGATIONS are underway following a significant drugs seizure in Limerick city.
€7,140 worth of cannabis was seized during an ongoing operation by Garda.
“Gardai in Limerick searched an address yesterday in the Roxboro Road area of the city as part of our ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs,” said a garda spokesperson.
“€7,140 of cannabis was seized along with two weighing scales used for measuring quantities of drugs with the alleged intent to supply,” they added.
According to gardai, one person was arrested, questioned and released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
