Calls to link Limerick to Bunratty with greenway

THE REGION’S road design office will contact Clare council over plans to link Coonagh in Limerick to Bunratty through a greenway.

At September's full meeting of Limerick City and County Council, Sinn Fein councillor Sharon Benson sought clarity on the proposal which is identified in the National Cycling Network.

David Leahy of the Mid-West National Road Design Office based in Limerick said he will raise the matter with his counterparts in Clare council.
