A LIMERICK hotel was the setting for Headway's vocational awards ceremony.
Headway is a non-profit community-based rehabilitation service with rehabilitation centres in Limerick, Dublin, Cork, Kerry, and Carlow.
The ceremony was held in recognition of clients who successfully completed their two-year Vocational Training Programme.
The event took place at the Absolute Hotel where present and former clients of Headway received QQI awards in recognition of their achievement and dedication to the programme.
The ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Gerald Mitchell; Seán O’Carroll and Evelyn O’Keeffe from Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board.
The suite of services provided by Headway include Vocational Training; Rehabilitative Training; Day Rehabilitation; Community Reintegration; Psychological and Neuropsychological support; family supports, and a dedicated Information and Support Helpline and Chat Service.
