EMERGENCY services are attending the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred in Limerick city this evening.
Three fire units from Mulgrave Street and Gardaí are attending the scene of an incident which occurred on Ballysimon Road.
It is understood that people had to be extracted from the cars following the collision, which involved two vehicles.
The road is currently closed.
The incident occurred at approximately 8.30pm this Tuesday.
