RTÉ HAS dropped the official trailer for season two of the crime series Hidden Assets, which was filmed partially in Limerick.

Set to return to our screens this September 3, the six-part series has been given a prime-time Sunday slot on RTÉ One.

Irish actor Simone Kirby stars in the drama alongside Peter Coonan, noted for his role as Fran in Love/Hate, with Galway native Nora-Jane Noone joining the cast for this season.

Hidden Assets first aired on November 7, 2021 on RTÉ ONE, with nearly half a million viewers tuning in to watch the highly anticipated season one finale.

The show, now also acquired by the BBC, had a spokesperson describe it as “a satisfying blend of crime drama, political conspiracy and thriller”.

The new series can also be watched on the RTÉ Player.
