LARGE crowds gathered at the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare on Thursday night to 'welcome home' the newly-crowned Rose of Tralee - Róisín Wiley.
The 27-year-old New York Rose, who was announced as the overall winner on Tuesday night, has strong Limerick connections and she lived in Patrickswell for a year when she was younger.
Her mother Majella is from Templeglantine in west Limerick while and her father Eddie, who is well-known in GAA circles, is from Kilmallock.
It's been a busy few days for Róisín who is looking forward to the year ahead.
Photographer Brendan Gleeson was in Adare on Thursday night to capture the atmosphere as the VP of National Sales at a US-based consumer marketing company was greeted by family and friends and got her hands on the Liam MacCarthy cup!
Truly honoured to welcome Róisín Wiley to Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel for her Limerick homecoming.
