IT HAS been a terrible summer for sun worshippers but gardai weren't going to let the bad weather excuse two drivers illegally parking to get a spray tan.
The @GardaTraffic twitter handle shared a photo of two cars on double yellow lines on Wickham Street in Limerick city.
"Gardaí in Roxboro came upon these two vehicles blocking pedestrians and cyclists. And all for a spray tan.
"An expensive one at that. Both vehicles were seized and court will follow," read the tweet from an official garda account.
At least they will be looking suitably sun-kissed for the judge.
