In Pictures: Kayakers take to water in Limerick for charity paddle

NEARLY 200 people took part in a kayaking event that took place in Limerick on Saturday in aid of Rape Crisis Midwest.

This is the 8th year of the annual charity paddle which raises funds and awareness for the organisation that provides much needed services to people in the region.

The event started at Shannon Rowing Club, Annacotty at 2pm and the group arrived at St Michael's Rowing Club in Limerick city just before 5pm.
