TWO HOLLYWODD stars have touched down in Limerick as they spend some time teeing it up in Ireland.

Oscar-winners Michael Douglas and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, have been spotted playing golf in several counties across the south west.

The power couple, who were married in November 2000, are regular visitors to the country and Adare Manor in particular where,  it's understood, they are staying - given an Instagram story posted by Catherine.

Michael Douglas (78) has appeared in over 50 Hollywood films including Wall Street, Romancing The Stone and Fatal Attraction, winning two Oscars and four Golden Globes along the way.

During a previous visit to Adare in 2010 for the JP McManus Pro-Am, Swansea native Catherine (53) was spotted in the centre of the village where she visited local fashion boutique Isobel and purchased a number of Missoni dresses.

She also paid a visit to local shoe shop Serendipity.

During their current break in Ireland, the couple have also been spotted in County Kerry.

Catherine, who won an Academy Award for her role in the musical Chicago in 2002, posted a picture on Instagram of the pair at Tralee Golf Club posing next to a statue of golf legend Arnold Palmer.

“When Irish eyes are smiling, a wee trip to the Emerald Isle to sample the links. Amazing,” she wrote.
