Investigations ongoing following theft in a Limerick city jeweller

INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing following a theft incident in a jeweller in the heart of Limerick city.

Keanes Jewellers' on O'Connell Street was closed following the incident, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a spokesperson for the gardaí, the incident occurred at approximately 2.05pm.

"Gardaí received report of an incident of theft that occurred at approximately 2:05pm on the 11th of July 2023 in a retail premises on O’Connell Street, Limerick city," said the spokesperson.

They also confirmed that no arrests have been made so far. 

Keanes Jewellers opened their doors again this Wednesday.

Investigations are ongoing.
