In Pictures: National Day of Commemoration held in Limerick

A NATIONAL Day of Commemoration Ceremony has taken place in Limerick to honour all those Irish men and women who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations. 

The ceremony was held at the Limerick City and County Council offices at Merchant's Quay on Sunday, July 9. 

Mayor Gerard Mitchell laid a wreath to honour the men and women who had died during wars or service.
