Hermitage Green announce 'exclusive warm-up show' in Limerick

LIMERICK quintet Hermitage Green have announced they'll be playing a series of "warm-up shows" ahead of their North American tour.

Sharing the news on social media, they commented: "Ahead of our North American tour in August we're holding three exclusive warm up shows in DUBLIN, LIMERICK, and CORK! We picked three of our favorite venues that we haven't played in a long time, and capacity is limited. S'gonna be a new show with new tunes played for the first time! Tickets go on sale on Monday at 10am. Off we go."

At the moment, the band is working on a new album, which will be out next year. But with this series of exclusive gigs, fans won't have to wait too long.

Back in April, bass player and vocalist, Barry Murphy, told Limerick Live: "We’re all quite busy trying to take the music in a new direction. There’s a lot of electronic music coming in. We always try to get a little bit upbeat for certain sections of the gig, and the latest album seems to be going in that direction entirely. It’s way less acoustic and more dance orientated, I would say with electronic synths."

Hermitage Green will play Dolan's on August 10. Tickets on sale this Monday at 10am via dolans.ie
