Fire service tackle fire at petrol station in Limerick

EMERGENCY services are attending the scene of a fire at a petrol station in a county Limerick town this Friday.

Units of Limerick Fire and Rescue Service from across the county are attending the incident in Knockdown, between Athea and Glin, after being called to the scene at 4:15pm.

According to a spokesperson for Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, several units from Newcastle West, Rathkeale and Abbeyfeale are in attendance.
