Thousands of Limerick students will begin their State examinations this Wednesday
NERVES are fluttering and tension is most-certainly high among sixth-year students across Limerick as this year’s Leaving and Junior Certificate exams get underway.
This Wednesday morning marks the beginning of the exams for thousands of secondary school students at schools across the country.
For the first time since Covid-19, the exams are taking place in the traditional way.
The Leaving Cert beings this Wednesday morning at 9.30am with English Paper One for both honours and ordinary level students. Junior Cert students will also sit their English exam.
For the last number of days the sun has been shining bright as summer officially announced its arrival - it certainly has been Leaving Cert weather.
However, it is expected that the weather will break in the coming days as chances of rainfall are more and more threatening as the days go on.
Best of luck to all the students sitting their exams in Limerick!
