Limerick firefighters respond to house blaze

Limerick fire crews deployed as car catches fire

LIMERICK firefighters rushed to a house blaze in Moyross in the early hours of the morning.

Three appliances from Limerick Fire and Rescue Service's base in Mulgrave Street rushed to the scene after receiving the call at 4.20am this Wednesday morning.

They were at the scene of the house fire in Cliona Park within six minutes.

A number of adults and children were present but no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the house fire is not known. Firefighters put out the blaze and were back at base shortly after 5am.
