Limerick siblings to bring products to shop shelves nationwide

Siblings William and Kylie O'Donoghue, with some of their FemFuelz products to go on sale

A NUTRITIONAL brand, founded by a Limerick senior hurler and his sister, has been selected as one of this year’s Grow with Aldi finalists.

FemFuelz, which specialises in female-specific nutritional and protein supplements, will have their products available to buy from Aldi stores nationwide for a two week period.

From May 25, online run FemFuelz will be selling selected products from their range in store. The company was founded by William O’Donoghue and his sister Kylie in October 2020.

Speaking about being selected as a finalist for this year’s Grow with Aldi competition, Kylie O’Donoghue said they were being “overwhelmed by the support” that herself and brother William have received.

“FemFuelz was born out of the desire to create a female specific supplement company that would support women in becoming the best version of themselves,” Kylie said.

“We are delighted to be on shelves in Aldi stores nationwide this May.

“We would like to thank Aldi for their help and support thus far and we cannot wait to see our product on the shelf.”

The FemFuelz Gut Balance Apple & Kiwi (80g), White Chocolate and Hazelnut Whey Protein (300g) and Chocolate Brownie Vegan Protein (300g) will soon be available in Aldi stories.

All FemFuelz blends contain premium ingredients with added vitamins, minerals and more to ensure customers have a unique experience and see the greatest benefits possible.

In partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with Aldi is now in its sixth year and invites suppliers from across Ireland to take their business to the next level by trading in stores nationwide.

There are three Aldi stores in Limerick, located in the Dublin Road and Childers Road areas of the city, while another is in the square, Newcastle West.

The 24 participants, from 15 counties, in the Grow with Aldi programme will have their supplies on sale in over 157 stores nationwide.
