A FARM in County Clare, close to Limerick city, has sold for over €210k above the guide.
Pat Dooley, of REA Dooley Group, presided over the auction at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The land at Ballymoloney and Ballyquinn, Kilbane, Broadford was offered for sale in four lots - old farmhouse on 13.3 acres; 13.4 acres with an old ruin; 26.4 acres and the entire 53 acres and farmhouse.

Mr Dooley described the 53 acres as “mixed quality ground” with the old farmhouse needing total renovation. Around 30 people were at the physical auction.
He said they offered the farm in its entirety but “only after we had exhausted the individual lots”.
The Limerick Leader/Limerick Live understands a local business man and landowner won the day with a bid of €710,000 for the entire lot.
Mr Dooley said they had a mix of buyers - farmers as well as young couples.
