SPRING into action this season with Springtime in Limerick - a promotional event embracing all that Limerick has to offer as the days begin to get brighter.
Limerick City and County Council are promoting the ‘grand stretch’ by showcasing all that Limerick has to offer via social media and online.
Members of the public can now check out a new, dedicated hub with a seasonal round up of ideas for activities on Limerick.ie, where suggestions for socialising spots can be viewed.
Donn O’Sullivan, Marketing and Communications Manager at Limerick City and County Council said: “As nature begins to bloom, getting outside and enjoying the fresh air, sunshine, and natural beauty can help to boost our mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.
“So, if you're feeling a bit sluggish or uninspired, why not sample all that Limerick has to offer?”
Some of the suggestions being put forward include: Getting back to nature in some of Limerick’s parks and woodlands; enjoy a mini foodie trail taking in Limerick’s Milk Market or visit historical attractions like King John’s Castle, Foynes Flying Boat Museum, Lough Gur or St Mary’s Cathedral.
The promotion by Limerick City and County Council supports the tourism and hospitality sectors across Limerick.
*Irish Summer Time begins at 1am this Sunday, March 25 when the clocks go forward an hour.
