A renowned Limerick venue has won a prestigious award.
Dolans, which is based on the Dock Road in the city was named Munster Live Venue of the Year at the IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2023.
The awards ceremony took place in Dublin on Tuesday night.
Dolan’s operates three live music venues, including The Warehouse, Upstairs at Dolan’s and the Kasbah Social Club.
Reacting to the big win, Neil Dolan told Limerick Live: “We were delighted to receive the award and felt it was a great recognition for our staff, crews, bands, that have worked so hard throughout the last few years.”
According to Neil, the venue is all about people.
“Dolan’s is an artistic community hub which prides itself on delivering the best experience for its customers and artists. Dolan’s is about people, and we have a brilliant team that we are very proud of,” he added.
On social media, many artists and concert-goes reacted to the venue’s big win, including singer/songwriter Emma Langford.

Hosted by The Sugar Club in Dublin, the IMRO Live Music Venue Awards are presented to venues that excel in the delivery of ambience, staging, sound and lighting, gender balance, diversity of music, professionalism with performers, PR, as well as the venue’s accessibility.
