In Pictures: Teachers, students and parents at Limerick school take to the catwalk for fashion show

Scoil Pól, Kilfiane recently held a fundraiser Fashion Show in Bulgaden Castle to support the building of  the multipurpose arena and it was a roaring success.

The organising committee, which consisted of teachers Aoife Stanton, Sarah O'Donnell, Aisling O'Connor, Kate Geary and Orla Shiel, did an astonishing amount of work behind the scenes and used their multitude of charms to persuade staff members, students and parents to take to the catwalk for the first time

The collaboration with the Holman Lee agency meant that there were professional models in the show, including one of the Scoil Pol teachers.

Local shops and fashion retailers whose clothing featured were Raspberry Red, Shaws,  Aisling Maher,  Ela Maria, Klassy Lady,  Love Cherish,  En Paris, Suzsa, Charisma,  Marlene & Co and Scanlan’s Menswear.

There were also stalls on the night which included Magpie jewellery, Michelle millinery and Fernia candles.

The organisers have thanked all those who attended and who supported what, they hope, could become an annual event.
