Fire service attend house fire in Limerick

The scene of the fire which broke out this Friday morning

EMERGENCY services attended the scene of a fire at a house in a county Limerick town on Friday.

Five units of Limerick Fire and Rescue Service, from across the county, attended the incident in Askeaton after being called to the scene at 10:57am. 

The units were still at the scene on Friday afternoon.

It is believed nobody sustained any injuries in the fire which occurred at a residential house opposite the Maxol Filling Station in the town. 

The cause of the fire is not yet known
