Dolan’s is home to Irish and international music and comedy acts
AN INTERNATIONALLY renowned Limerick venue has been nominated for a prestigious award.
Dolan's, a popular music and comedy venue has been shortlisted for the IMRO Live Music Of The Year Award.
Based on the Dock Road, the venue which has three stages, Upstairs @ Dolans, Kasbah @ Dolans, and Dolan's Warehouse, is shortlisted alongside several other Munster and countrywide venues.
Posting to Twitter about their nomination, Dolans wrote: "chuffed to be shortlisted for the IMRO Live Music of the Year Award 2023.
"[We are] delighted to be shortlisted for the IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2023, [as] the only Limerick venue shortlisted."

The award recognises Irish venues that deliver the very best standards in live music entertainment, and venues were judged on different categories.
These include: their ambience, staging, sound/lighting facilities, diversity of music programming, accessibility for people with disabilities, venue staff and management and the work they undertake in promoting the venue and its programme of music events.
The shortlist for the award is drawn up from the IMRO member’s poll and voting is still open to the public through this link.
The IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2023 will take place on Tuesday, March 14.
