Irish singer adopts adorable puppy from Limerick Animal Welfare

IRISH popstar Una Healy has adopted her second pet from Limerick Animal Welfare.

The Tipperary native visited the Kilfinane sanctuary on Monday where she adopted little puppy Benji.

The team at the sanctuary said Benji was settling "brilliantly" into his new home.

The former Saturdays singer told her followers: "We adopted this adorable little puppy today from the amazing @limerickanimalwelfare our hearts are full of love for him already."

In June 2021, Una rescued a black and white cat from the same sanctuary.

Sharing the news on Instagram at the time, the 41-year-old posted adorable photos of their new pet and wrote: "She’s like ‘no more photos please’ in the last pic the latest edition to the family this little beauty".

"We adopted her today from the @limerickanimalwelfare (thank you so much for all the wonderful love and care for so many rescue animals) we are all in love here".
