The late Paddy Hartnett will be laid to rest on Friday
A YOUNG man who tragically lost his life in a road traffic collision near Ballylanders early on Monday morning will be laid to rest on Friday.
Paddy Hartnett, aged 22, of Knockanevin, Mitchelstown, was the much loved son of Martin & Helen (nee Bailey); loving brother of Eoin and Harry and the late Jack; and dear grandson of John and Mary Bailey.
He is sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts, especially aunt Helen, granduncles, grandaunts, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, this Thursday, January 12 from 4pm to 7pm. Reception into Shraharla Church on Friday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Mitchelstown Church Cemetery.

One said: "He was always smiling and cheerful when we met. He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path in life. Rest in Peace Paddy. Thinking of you all at this extremely difficult and sad time."
Another touchingly wrote: "Paddy was the greatest friend a guy could ask for. He was always there for me and all the lads in school. He was great fun. He always encouraged and practiced loyalty and he will be missed beyond words. Thank you for your friendship Paddy and I will never forget you."
The fatal road traffic collision - involving a car and a van - occurred on the R513 Garryspillane to Ballylanders Road at 6.15am on Monday morning.
The male driver of the van, aged in his late 50s, was taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling in the area at the time who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
