IRISH Water is warning of possible supply disruptions in Limerick city and surrounding areas of County Limerick.

The possible disruptions are due to start on Tuesday, January 10.

The supply issues will be caused by a reservoir clean.

Works for the reservoir cleaning are scheduled to take place from 10am, January 10 to 10am Tuesday, January 17.

It is recommended that those without a water supply due to the works wait two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
