THE Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide, often referred to as the “glovebox bible” has awarded the National Best Breakfast Award and Best Hotel Breakfast Award to the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare.
And the citation praises the hotel as “an outstanding example of contemporary Irish hospitality at its best.”
The Dunraven, the guide says, continues to combine personal service and quality with value and this dedication to quality extends to the superb breakfast offered, an area where many other hotels have sought to make savings, to the detriment of the overall guest experience.
Not so at the Dunraven Arms, the guide says, “where the dining room is set up as smartly for breakfast as it is for dinner in the evening and well-slept guests are treated to an extensive buffet display of the freshest foods and drink, a range of freshly baked goods and a Limerick ham for carving.
Cooked to order breakfasts are equally impressive, according to the guide.
