The pipe-smoking detective got his man aided by the ferocious gorilla of course, and now the town of Bruff is now much closer to getting its playground.

The people of Bruff and surrounds came out in huge numbers to support the fundraiser and now Bruff Grange Meanus Community Council can get ahead with building, now that conditional planning permission has been granted. There will be a playground information point to answer all questions at the forthcoming Bruff Heritage Christmas Market in the Courthouse on this Saturday morning and again later at the old Protestant Church for the duration of Santa’s visit to Bruff, 1-6pm. The Christmas lights will be switched on after that and Bruff will look forward to a bright Christmas.
