Operation Transformation star joins Minister to launch new menus in Limerick

OPERATION Transformation star Kayleigh Yeoman joined Housing Minister Jan O’Sullivan TD in the George Boutique Hotel’s restaurant in Limerick last week to launch the hotel’s new menus, which display the calorie count in the food being served.

The restaurant are the first in the country to display the calorie count of the food being served in their busy restaurant and enlisted the help of the Operation Transformation star to promote the initiative.

The move comes on foot of Minister for Health Dr James Reilly starting a discussion on the best way of putting calorie information on menus, as part of an effort to stem the rise of obesity in Ireland.

Kayleigh, a 19 year-old from Corbally weighed 15 stone and nine pounds when she first got on the scales at the start of the RTE series and went on to lose over two stone during the series and afterward. She was recently signed up to the Assets modelling agency in Dublin.
